Daegu Final Day and Finally Bolt anchored Jamaica to a New World Record 37.04 in the Final event 4x100m

The closing event of Men 4x100m of the 13th IAAF World Championships 2011 Daegu came to a climax when Usain Bolt anchored the Jamaica team with Michael Frater, Nesta Carter and Yohan Blake to a new world record of 37.04, the only world record established at the meet and beating its own WR of 37.10 (Nesta Carter, Michael Frater, Usain Bolt, Asafa Powell) set in Beijing Olympics on 22 August 2008

Apart from the gold medals, the quartet also won a cash prize of USD100,000 as a special World Record Award from the World Record Programme offered by TDK

France finished with the silver in 38.20 while St Kitts Nevis took the bronze in 38.49

USA and Britain both DNF as a result of a collision in baton passing between the 3rd and 4th
legs.
