Moses and Arusei to lead strong field in Semi Marathon de Paris tomorrow
The 20th edition of Semi Marathon de Paris scheduled to take off tomorrow 4 Mar, will see a strong field led by Moses Mosop, 27 and Peninah Arusei , 33 , both Kenyans.
Moses has a personal best of of 59:20 (Milan 2010) over the half marathon distance and he ran the 2nd fastest ever marathon race in his debut in Boston in April last year where he finished second at 2:03:06 to countryman Geoffrey Mutai (2:03:02).
He set the course record of 2:05:36 at the Chicago Marathon last October and also holds the world records in track in 30,000m at 1:26:47.4 and 25,000m at 1:12:25.4 (en route) at Eugene, Orlando, USA in Jun 2011
Arusei has a PB of 1:07:48 (Lille 2010) and is the women defending champion who won in a course record of 1:08:30 .
