Ethiopian runners sweep the Men's and Women's podium placings at the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon 2014

The Ethiopians made a clean sweep of the top three positions in both the men's and women's categories at the
Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon 2014 held this morning Friday 24 Jan

1) 2:04:32 - Tsegaye Mekonnen Asefa (ETH) - debut
2) 2:05:13 -  Markos Geneti Guteta (ETH)
3) 2:05:49 - Girmay Birhanu Gebru (ETH)

Women [2:19:31 - Aselefech Mergia (ETH) 2012]
1) 2:25:01  Mula Seboka (ETH)
2) 2:25:23  Meselech Melkamu (ETH)
3) 2:25:53  Firehiwot Dado Tufy (ETH)
