Marathon World Record holder Patrick Makau, 26 of Kenya (2:03:38 Berlin last September) was a spectator at last Sunday's New York City Marathon which was won by his compatriot Geoffrey Mutai, 30 (who ran the fastest marathon ever in 2:03:02 at Boston last April) in 2:05:06 and this was what Patrick said about Geoffrey after the race, quote:

"Seeing my friend run here yesterday, I think he can definitely get the world record,"
"He is capable of running faster than I did in Berlin."
