



The Kenyans made a 1-2-3 finish each in the men and women categories of the Boston Marathon today in abnormally high temperatures of high 80's.

3) Bernard Kipyego - 2:13:13
Women:
1. Sharon Cherop - 2:31:50.
2. Jemima Sumgong - 2:31:52
3. Georgina Rono - 2:33:09
with the inclusion of the 21,000 finishers this year (23,833 last year), the total count of the official finishers over the 116-year history of the Boston Marathon has exceeded 500,000
